AUDITION INFORMATION.
Lorain Community Music Theater is excited to announce auditions for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA, the Enchanted Edition. We're looking for a diverse cast to bring this joyful and vibrant show to life.
AUDITION DATES
Audition slots are available

2PM - 5PM on Sunday, March 1st
-
6PM - 8PM on Tuesday, March 3rd
Callbacks will be by invitation only on March 8th. Audition sign-ups go live on February 2nd, 2026.

All auditions will be held at St. Peter School Gym located at 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain.
Please bring a printed and completed audition form to your audition. Audition forms will also be available to fill out at the time of audition. If you plan to fill out your form at the audition, please be sure to arrive a few minutes early so that you have the time to do so.
SEEKING
All roles are available. Diversity is encouraged and welcomed! Please come prepared to show your full potential as a performer.

Cinderella
Her Fairy Godmother
Her Stepmother
Grace – her awkward stepsister
Joy – her sullen stepsister
Christopher – a charming young prince
Lionel – his royal steward
Queen Constantina – his mother
King Maximillian – his father
Charles – a cat who will become a Coachman
4 White Mice – who will become Horses
A Dove – who will become a Footman
Villagers, Merchants, Maidens and Palace Guests
Limited roles available for children ages 7-15*

*All participants 15 years of age or younger must have a guardian or other comparable adult with them at all rehearsals and performances
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Please prepare a 16-32 bar cut from a song that is similar in style to the show and demonstrates your vocal range. Please bring piano sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.

Headshots and resumes are appreciated but NOT required.
​
There will be no dance call at the initial audition.
​
Call backs will be held on March 8th and all those invited to attend will be contacted. There will be a dance call at callbacks.

Callbacks will be held on March 8th. You will be contacted if you are selected to attend callbacks.
IMPORTANT DATES
Rehearsals will begin early June and will be held Sunday - Thursday evenings.

The show will run from July 23 – 26, 2026. Please make sure you are available for all performances.
