Artistic Vision and Leadership

• Develop and communicate a clear artistic vision for the production.

• Establish the concept, thematic approach, period, and overall style of the show.

• Provide leadership throughout the rehearsal and production process while fostering a positive, collaborative environment.

Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the Musical Director, Choreographer, Producers, and Design Team to ensure a cohesive production.

• Collaborate with scenic, costume, lighting, sound, and other designers to align all production elements with the artistic vision.

• Participate in regular production meetings. Meetings may initially be held virtually via Zoom until in-person meetings can be scheduled.

Auditions and Casting

• Lead the audition and casting process in collaboration with the Musical Director and Choreographer.

• Evaluate performers' acting, vocal, and movement abilities to create a strong, diverse, and balanced cast.

• Assist in promoting, recruiting and identifying possible audition candidates that would meet cast needs.

• Audition dates will be determined by the production team and are anticipated to take place in early spring 2027.

Rehearsal Process

• Develop and implement an organized rehearsal schedule.

• Guide performers in character development, storytelling, staging, and performance quality.

• Work collaboratively with all production staff to ensure the show is prepared for technical rehearsals and performances.
